Arthur Disegna

Arthur is a medical doctor with experience in critical care and neurosciences. Since coming to Oxford in 2021, he pursues a DPhil focused on the interface between haematology and critical care in patients who suffered severe brain injuries. He collaborates directly with the UK’s National Institute of Health Research, the University of Cambridge, and several NHS trusts throughout the country. Before that, Arthur was an Intensive Care fellow in private hospitals in Brasília (Brazil) throughout the Pandemic. Outside of medicine and academia, he enjoys cycling, music and travel. Arthur is a member of Brasenose College, where he also serves as a Junior Dean.
