Associate Fellow
Andrew Maile is an Associate Fellow at the Oxford Character Project where he is undertaking qualitative research within the tech sector. He has previously worked on research exploring character and virtues in professional settings, and the social and societal challenges of migrant and refugee entrepreneurial practices in the UK. Andrew studied Human Biology at Stellenbosch University, Psychology at Rhodes University, and Character Education at Birmingham University. His current PhD studies are exploring pedagogies for the cultivation of intellectual virtues, with a broader goal of cultivating practical wisdom among business school students through leadership and business ethics education provision. He also sits on the College of Policing Code of Ethics Review Committee. When not researching the opportunities and barriers to human flourishing through education, Andrew is either rowing on the water, running next to it, or out on a dog walk.
