Melissa Jones Briggs

Melissa Jones Briggs is an Associate Fellow of the Oxford Character Project. On faculty at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business Melissa teaches Acting with Power in partnership with leading social scientists. She lectures in the flagship Stanford Executive Program among others and is a faculty affiliate at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research. She loves to guest lecture in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies and has taught at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (Stanford’s d.school) too. Off campus, Melissa designs and directs global leadership and coaching programs for top corporations and hyper-growth startups, NGOs, and federal institutions. Trained as a theatre artist in London and New York, she specializes in performance as a tool for social and organizational change. She is a passionate advocate for equity in arts education with a focus on social justice.
