From 14th to 16th August 2023, The Oxford Character Project team will visit the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka for a learning exchange between the universities. As part of this learning exchange, academics and staff from the two universities will facilitate a 2-day workshop titled "Leading with Character" for c. 30 undergraduate students at the University of Colombo.
Building on our research and programmes at the University of Oxford, we will engage in a co-creation process to adapt our curriculum for the local students and adapt the lessons to make them relevant in the Sri Lankan context. This project is funded by the John Templeton Foundation and is part of our university partnership programmes.
Earlier this year, we organised similar exchanges with the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria Madrid in Spain and Anáhuac University in Mexico. If you are interested to learn more about our work with universities around the world, please write to us at gli@oxfordcharacter.org.
