GLI Tyson Rallens

Tyson is curious about human flourishing in organizations. He is currently working on a DPhil in Management on how organizational culture affects the strategic interplay between expert judgment and data-driven algorithms in managerial decision-making. Prior to this, Tyson worked at Hewlett-Packard for fifteen years writing software for embedded systems and managing global engineering teams. Outside of his research, he is the chairman of a non-profit for classical education; the warden of The Kilns, C.S. Lewis’s historic home in Oxford; and both a rower and a cox with Merton College Boat Club.
