This November, Dr Ed Brooks, Executive Director of The Oxford Character Project, delivered a keynote talk at the influential Women of the Future Summit.
Women of the Future's mission is to discuss key issues faced today and to consider how progress can be made. The Women of the Future Summit does this through the lens of a new generation of leaders, exploring how shifts in culture and leadership style reflect global challenges in a different light and thereby create new ideas and opportunities. The event draws international delegates for a truly global conversation with the aim of creating and sustaining a global forum to inspire and energise the leaders of tomorrow
The programme also serves as a platform to unlock a culture of kindness and collaboration among leaders. Their portfolio of events and projects connect, inspire and support a new generation of female leaders. Led by Pinky Lilani CBE DL, they have built a remarkable, informal community of influential women determined not only to build professional and personal relationships with one another but to be advocates for an exciting new generation of business leadership talent
This year’s Women of the Future Summit was dedicated to giving next-generation female leaders a boost of energy and support, recognising that we have all been digging deep for a long time through the Covid-19 pandemic and its knock-on consequences. Its aim was to be deeply practical, sharing insight, inspiration and connections that could accelerate delegates’ leadership journey and support their personal wellbeing.
At the 2021 Summit Dr Brooks spoke on "Character and Purpose."
