Rachel Sider is a Master in Public Policy candidate at Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government and an emerging expert on humanitarian policy. Rachel served as NRC's lead spokeswoman for media and its representative with various governments and international organisations. As a policy lead for Oxfam, she conducted the first research on durable solutions in post-ISIS Iraq. Working with families and communities affected by war has taught Rachel the value of upholding respect for international humanitarian law from the battlefield to the board room. Rachel holds a BA in international studies from Middlebury College and is proficient in Arabic and Spanish.
