At the "Truth, Lies & Christian Ethics: Annual Conference of the Society for the Study of Christian Ethics", Dr Edward A. David responded to a paper entitled, "Truth and Christian Ethics: A Narratival Perspective" by Professor Mark Wynn of Oxford University. Edward's paper responded to two epistemic claims made by Wynn concerning truth and Christian ethics. The first claim concerns how the body knows something prior to an operation of reason. The second claim concerns the relationship between narrative and metaphysics. Edward's response interprets these claims in detail by drawing upon Wynn’s previous work in religious epistemology, and by examining them through Aristotelian and Thomist virtue ethics. Edward's response, along with Professor Wynn's paper, will be published in Studies in Christian Ethics in February 2022.
