The Oxford Character Project has recently partnered with the Thanksgiving Point Institute in Utah, United States, to cultivate character across the institute’s internal departments, external programmes, and community initiatives. With a mission to bring the joy of learning and wonders of the natural world to life, Thanksgiving Point is a unique campus that houses farms, gardens, and museums, offering a wide range of learning experiences for children and families. As part of this partnership, researchers and academics from the Oxford Character Project will work closely with the senior leadership and a group of character champions at Thanksgiving Point to promote various aspects of character development.

The project is part of the “Fostering Character Through Children’s Museums” initiative, funded by the Lily Endowment.
