Research has the potential to change the ways we think and act in political, social and cultural life. But what privileges and responsibilities are linked to working at the forefront of human knowledge? What does it mean to be a good and wise thought leader?
The Thought Leaders programme brings postgraduate students together in a diverse learning community to consider the purpose of their research; who they hope to become as they study and begin their career; the role they can play as researchers and intellectuals in political, social and cultural life; and the opportunities they have for serving the common good.
The programme runs over Hilary Term and includes discussions with a community of likeminded peers, personal mentoring and conversations with invited academics and leading intellectuals.
